Jean talks about her connection with the Australian Land
The Essence of Australia is a celebration of all the manifestations of the Land, its landscape, creatures, even its inherent space.
The Land sings with life. It reminds us that we are inseparable from the earth, and that each quality of Essence expressed in human beings is also expressed in the 
land.
When I first came to Australia to teach, the earth made its presence known to me in the process of my own unfoldment. In the beginning it was like a background sound, alive and vibrant, supporting and grounding my unfoldment. The sound was as low as Buddhist monk’s chant or the tones of the didgeridoo.
It opened my awareness and heightened my understanding of the inseparability of my life and spirit from that of the earth.
The Essence of Australia adventure then is an opportunity to join me and our Aboriginal and Australian friends on an exploration of some of the most magnificent and spiritually potent landscape in Australia.
Our journey starts in Queensland’s rainforest where we are privileged to be guests of Aboriginal elders and healers. They will introduce us to their stories - ancient and modern, their country, traditional lore and rock art sites. This is followed by several days at a Wilderness Lodge exploring the lush and vibrant rainforest and continuing our own inner journey.
We fly then into the Central Australian desert. Whilst this land may seem sparse and desolate to us, it has been an abundant and bountiful home to the Aboriginal people for over 40,000 years.
We finish at Uluru- Kata Tjuta National Park a World Heritage site. Its magic as an ancient spiritual center for the Aboriginal people is well respected. The ancient songs and legends of creation time, Tjukurpa, reverberate throughout the Land
