The Ridhwan Foundation is based in Berkeley and Colorado. The Ridhwan Foundation is under the direct supervision of Hameed Ali (A.H. Almaas),
along with a board of senior teachers of the school. The Foundation
oversees the training and ongoing development of teachers and the
overall direction of the teaching and the school. For more information

Essence Australia is known as an 'Outlying Group.' Outlying groups
follow the same direction of the teaching as schools in Berkeley and
Colorado, but are more autonomous. As in the sufi tradition, outlying
groups arise and develop in response to local interest, and because a
teacher has agreed to work with that group. Outlying groups receive no
financial or administrative support from the Ridhwan Foundation and
must be completely self-supporting administratively and financially.
